WARDOGS Companion, unofficial community extension for Twitch
Effective date: October 9, 2026
Update of October 9, 2026. Section 4 now covers presets, whose names and roles are public, and the channel’s name, published as the display name when that field is left empty. Both arrive with the extension update that adds presets. Until that update reaches a channel, its editor offers no presets and, when the display name is left empty, shows and publishes a neutral placeholder, which viewers see as “My stream”, instead of the channel’s name.
1. About these terms
These terms govern the use of WARDOGS Companion (“the extension”), a free extension for Twitch that lets a broadcaster show their WARDOGS loadout to their viewers in a panel displayed over the video.
The extension is created and published under the name BiggyQLF by an individual developer based in France (“the developer”).
Contact and support: wardogscompanion@gmail.com
By installing, configuring or using the extension, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the extension.
2. Unofficial status
The extension is an unofficial community project. It is not made, endorsed, sponsored or supported by BULKHEAD, Team17 or Twitch, and is not affiliated with them. WARDOGS is developed by Bulkhead Limited (BULKHEAD) and published by Team17 Digital Limited (Team17).
3. Access and pricing
The extension is free. It offers no purchases, subscriptions or Bits.
It is available only through Twitch. Your use of Twitch, including its age requirements, remains governed by Twitch’s Terms of Service (https://legal.twitch.com/en/legal/terms-of-service/) and Community Guidelines. These terms govern only the relationship between you and the developer.
4. Broadcasters
- You publish a loadout by clicking “Publish changes” in the editor. The published loadout is public: anyone watching your channel can see it, including the display name, the names and roles of your presets and the key labels you choose, as well as the date and time of publication. If you leave the display name empty, your channel’s name is published as the display name or, if Twitch has not provided it, a neutral placeholder (see sections 4 and 5 of the privacy policy).
- You are responsible for what you publish, including the display name and the preset names you type. It must comply with the law and with Twitch’s rules. In particular, do not publish content that is unlawful, hateful or harassing, that infringes someone else’s rights, that contains personal information about another person, or that impersonates someone or suggests an official link with BULKHEAD, Team17 or Twitch.
- Do not try to interfere with the extension or with Twitch services, to bypass the extension’s limits or checks, or to use it for anything other than showing your loadout.
- You can change or replace your loadout at any time, and stop using the extension by deactivating or uninstalling it on Twitch. To erase the saved configuration, presets included, use the editor’s “Clear published loadout” button; see section 4 of the privacy policy.
5. Viewers
Viewers use the extension only to view the broadcaster’s loadout and presets. They have no information to provide. They can move the launcher button and move or resize the panel; these preferences stay in their own browser (see the privacy policy).
6. Game information
The game information shown by the extension (item characteristics, prices, weights, unlocks, loadout value and so on) is compiled by the developer for information only. It may be incomplete or differ from the game, in particular after a game update. The game itself remains the only reference.
7. Intellectual property
- The extension: the source code, style sheets and texts written for the project are protected by copyright (© 2026 BiggyQLF, all rights reserved; LICENSE.txt, shipped with the extension). Subject to the rights granted to Twitch to review, host, distribute and archive the extension, the only right granted to users is to use it through Twitch. Any other copying, modification, distribution or exploitation of these elements requires the developer’s prior written permission.
- Third-party components: they remain under their own licences, namely the MIT License for code from React, ReactDOM, scheduler, Vite and its CommonJS helper, and the SIL Open Font License 1.1 for the Barlow and Barlow Semi Condensed fonts. The full texts of these licences ship with the extension (THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt).
- The game: WARDOGS, its names, logos, visuals and game elements, including the item and vehicle images, belong to their respective rights holders (BULKHEAD, Team17). They are shown only to represent the game and the items in the broadcaster’s loadout; no right is claimed over them. Twitch is a trademark of Twitch Interactive, Inc.
- Rights holders: a rights holder who objects to the use of any content can write to wardogscompanion@gmail.com. The developer will review the request promptly and, where it is justified, remove or change the content concerned.
8. Twitch’s role
Twitch provides the platform on which the extension runs. Twitch offers no support, maintenance or warranty for the extension, and is not responsible for it, for its compliance with the law or for any claim relating to it. Questions, bug reports and support requests should be sent to the developer at wardogscompanion@gmail.com.
Twitch may remove or disable the extension at any time under its own rules.
9. Availability and no warranty
The extension is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, the developer gives no warranty that it will be available, error-free, accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
The developer may change, suspend or stop the extension at any time. Updates to the game or to Twitch may stop it from working, temporarily or permanently.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect loss or damage. Nor is the developer liable for losses not attributable to the developer, in particular those resulting from:
- the extension being unavailable or interrupted;
- inaccurate or outdated game information;
- content published by a broadcaster;
- the actions of Twitch or of any other third party.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, in particular for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or affects the mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
11. Personal data
How the extension handles data is described in the WARDOGS Companion privacy policy, published alongside these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated, in particular when the extension changes. The new version will be published at the same address with a new effective date, and significant changes will be highlighted at the top of this page. If you keep using the extension after that date, you accept the new version, to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the extension.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. This choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
If a dispute arises, first write to wardogscompanion@gmail.com to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts, unless mandatory rules give jurisdiction to another court, such as the courts of your place of residence.
14. Languages
These terms are available in French and English, with the same content. If the two versions differ, the French version prevails.
